​The Academy has also been instrumental in conducting world class badminton events like the India Open Grand Prix 2009, the BWF World Badminton Championships 2009 and Badminton Asia Team Championships 2016.
​All the Top World Class Players Like Lee Chong Wee, Lin Dan, Taufiq Hiyadat, Peter Gade, Wang Xin , Shixian Wang, Tine Baun, Carolina Marine, Sung Ji Hyun, Ratchanok Ithanon and many other players have visited the academy during practice for World Championships.

Under the Mentorship of Pullela Gopichand, GBA offers custom made Badminton programmes with a structured curriculum catering to a spectrum of badminton enthusiasts right from beginners to advanced level. We provide training facilities which subscribe to global standards with right methodology to all our trainees. The trainers & coaches are certified by Gopichand to handle the training & coaching to all the trainees.
